Ever get that feeling that you’re traveling back in time?

Picture this: You’ve got a high-tech, German car. You find a parking spot effortlessly, thanks to your car’s parking assist. You pull up, and BOOM! A sign says ‘EC Karte (Girocard) Only’. 🙃

Here’s the kicker: Banks have nearly phased out Girocards – both my banks canceled them. But parking lots? Nah, they’re keeping it old school like it’s an ’80s disco night! 💃🕺

It’s like a catch-22 penned by a German philosopher. You can’t park without a Girocard, but you can’t get a Girocard without visiting a museum called “Banking History.” 🤣

Moral of the story: Keep some cash and a spare Girocard (if you can find one!) handy, or you might find yourself wandering around the streets of Germany searching for an ATM, pondering the irony of technological advancement. 🏦 🤷‍♀️
