Teaching
I was elected favorite professor by the EBS business school’s student body for my teaching ten years in a row — in 2009 through 2019. What makes me really proud is that I was the only professor in the long history of EBS that was elected an honorary member of the EBS student-body association.
During the 2018/19 school year I taught the following courses:
- Finance 1 (first semester course) at EBS – My teaching evaluations can be found here
- A graduate course in Asset Pricing and Derivative at EBS – My teaching evaluations can be found here
- MBA course Finance 1 at EBS – My teaching evaluations can be found here
- Executive MBA course – Finance at Durham and EBS – My teaching evaluations TBA
- Preparatory Finance course for non Finance at EBS – My teaching evaluations can be found here
- EBS Business Summer 2018 – My teaching evaluations can be found here
- Fintech course at NYU – My teaching evaluations can be found here
- Advanced Investments at NYU – My teaching evaluations can be found here

Even though I am a big believer in the importance of the use of new technologies in teaching I also do believe that new technologies sometimes show their bad side. If you would like to know when and why click on the following image.
In my classes I provide students with an iPad e-book that I have created. The book contains more than 200 pages of course material. In addition it contains interactive exercises, slides and more than 30 hours of recorded video lectures. Some of these lectures you can see on my youtube channel here:
